A company’s mission statement describes what it is, why it exists, and why it will continue to exist. Your mission statement should at the very least indicate who your primary customers are, what products and services you offer, and where you operate geographically.

If you don’t already have one, write a mission statement that summarises your company’s goals in one sentence. Request that two or three key employees from your firm do the same. After that, have a discussion about the claims and come up with a single sentence that everyone can agree on.
